MBennett Flash Site - May 2008
Thanks to a common friend, Michael Bennett, a visiting professor at Michigan Tech, contacted me regarding a personal professional site that he had invisioned. He wanted a flash-based site with dynamic animation that he could easily update. Complete with a private backend, the finished product allowed him to upload images and documents as well as update text portions of the flash site via a simple login system. The site makes server-side calls with Actionscript 3.0 to pull data for the dynamic pages.

Art Show Site - April 2008
The voting system for the annual IRHC art show had been handled onsite for years, requiring hours of volunteer work and paper ballots. This site allowed students to login and vote for each art piece only once, rating each one individually. Also, the artists could login at any time and see their current ranking. The data had to be stored with a flat-file structure thanks to server restrictions.

MORHA Site - March 2008
Chosen as the technology chair for MORHA, a state-wide student group, for 2007-08 gave me the opportunity to redo their website. Most of the site's functionality exists on the backend, where members can login, report, upload reports, and view information through a simple interface. Everything is run through flat-file data structure, including the massive report library dating back to the 1980s.

Egg Voting Site - March 2008
To modernize the egg decorating voting, IRHC decided to have an online system that would allow repeated, anonymous voting. After randomly selecting two eggs that had a low total number of votes, the user could select their favorite with a single click before being shown two new eggs. This quick and easy voting system tallied several thousand votes in a matter of days and made the entire event very popular and visible.

Penny Wars Flash Site - December 2007
This website was created both as a class project and an information source for an IRHC event. Utilizing Actionscript 3.0 for animation and website functionality only, the file has static information and features. The fun layout and close tie-in with the event's advertisement made the project a success in both the classroom and for the organization.
